Mount Kailash is one of the Asia’s most sacred mountain which is situated in the middle of six mountain ranges representing the perfect structure of Lotus. Popularly known for its spiritual values, Mount Kailash receives thousands of pilgrims, mostly Buddhist, Jain and Hindu followers, from all around the world. Mount Kailash is believed to be the home of the Hindu deity, Lord Shiva. For Jain followers, Mt. Kailash is the place where the first Jain Tirthankara, Rishabhadeva attained deliverance from rebirth. The region holds a very special religious significance which compels tourists to visit this holy place at least once in their lifetime. However, the trek is strenuous and contains physically challenging climb up the Kora (Parikarma) for the devotees.
