This tour begins from the holy city of Lhasa by appreciating its prominent historical and religious sites like Potala Palace and Norbulingkha Palace, Jokhang temple, Sera and Drepung monastery.  Furthermore, we will also explore some other famous sites like Barkhor Bazaar, Gyantse Dzong, Samye, Namtso Lake, Gyantse Khumbum, Phalkot, Shalu, Tashilhumpo and Sakya monastery. Each of these palaces, temples, natural sites has their own history and religious significance.

Another important part of this tour is the opportunity to explore Namtso lake, one the three holiest lakes in Tibet, and also believed by many as one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. Before visiting this largest salt lake, we will also accomplish one of the major highlights of the tour, reaching the Everest base camp on the day 6 of our tour. Before immerging into the lands of Himalayan region, the extensive holy Yamdrok Lake, flourishing Karo la glaciers, mystic Gyantse Khumbum stupa and Tashi Lhunpo monastery keeps us inspiring with amazement and appreciation. The land of this mighty Himalayan is remarked by geological formations and excellent panorama of Himalayan range.

Food:

While you are in cities you can get verities of good meals but while you are on a trek or along the highways there are less varieties and not so good food so it is advised to bring some dry food of your own all the time. Due to the high altitude you may feel not so hungry or lose your appetite which is common symptom of altitude, no worry and try to eat as much as you can. You need more energy while you are in the high altitude areas. Many travelers suffer from diarrhea in Tibet, so please be careful with the varieties of food and try to have some light meals with more soups and tea.  Please avoid eating raw food like vegetable salads, etc… always try to eat well cooked meals and drink only boiled or sealed packed mineral water.
